Eyes on the Wye is a forum through which local communities have come together to monitor their part of the River Wye and call Welsh Water to account for sewage overflows. We are urging Welsh Water to stop sewage overflows discharging into the Wye Valley - starting with the worst pipe at Bigsweir.
We are helping with the set up of community testing teams to sample the water from overflow pipes, to understand and evidence the impact.
We want to work with communities to help report and track sewage overflow discharges.
We want to explore other local solutions to reduce the impact that sewage overflow discharges have on our environment.
